Headteachers Welcome

Welcome to Park!

Park is a very special, diverse and inclusive school that provides a happy, caring, and stimulating environment in which children can blossom, achieve high standards, gain a sense of independence and begin to realise their full potential. Our philosophy on learning is that it should be life-long, life-wide and life-deep.

Our key skills for life are:

Resilience – We are strong, we never give up trying.

Opportunity – We seize every chance given to us to succeed.

Aspiration – We aim high and strive for our very best.

Achievement – We celebrate all successes no matter how small.

Respect – We demonstrate integrity and courtesy to everyone and treat them equally.

Responsibility – We have ownership of our thoughts and actions and accept any consequences.

These life skills are developed throughout the curriculum and via our House Teams.

Children are encouraged to take pride in their work, to work hard and to do the best they can always. High standards of behaviour and discipline are expected at Park so that children, parents and staff feel both safe and valued as individuals.

Our visitors comment on the welcoming, happy, positive and caring atmosphere in our school. They have particularly commented on what a great attitude to learning the children have, the excellent behaviour and the good manners our children display.

The staff, governors and I are looking forward to continuing to build productive partnerships with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential.  We know a strong partnership with families will make a great difference to your child’s education.

In addition, we are confident that with a talented team of both teaching and non-teaching staff we can provide a smooth transition for any child joining the school and we endeavour to meet the needs of all.

If you have any comments or questions regarding the school and/or would like to meet with me in person, please do not hesitate to email me to make an appointment parents@park.doncaster.sch.uk
