Teaching Assistant

Grade 5

1x 27.5-hour contract (Mon-Fri) will begin on 1st September 2025

Due to professional development and career progression, Park Primary school are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join our very friendly, hardworking team. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, flexible and able to use their own initiative.

A working knowledge of EYFS teaching would be desirable along with experience of working with children with English as an Additional Language and/or special educational needs. The successful candidate will be a good communicator who is approachable, friendly and willing to work with individuals, small groups and whole classes of children.

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our hardworking, happy, and dedicated staff team.

The role involves supervising the children in the hall, on the playground or field or in the classrooms if wet and helping put the tables and chairs away after lunch.

  • able to work as part of a team and also be able to use your own initiative.
